Just a quick update , lastminute.com have not replied to my complaint form via e-mail so I have penned a letter which I will send to their head office. So far as I can see, lastminute.com are either inundated with e-mails of complaint or just dont take customer service seriously . I will update this forum , if/when I get a response .  :mad:0

I think you are right second time!
I decided never to use lastminute.com when I was trying to buy an air ticket from them, and needed to know whether that particular ticket would allow date changes, etc. It took me about a week to get an answer to some fairly basic questions about the conditions of sale, but the worst part was, they told me that I had to buy the ticket in order to know the full conditions!0 -
Well the story so far is not too promising. I have received an automated email from them , thanking me for my letter and that they are investigating.
Am waiting with bated breath ...........not .0 -
Grrrr! If there's one thing I hate it's ludicrous timescales for answering emails... Especially when each reply is followed by another "thank you for your email, we endeavour to answer within three working days".
Grrrr! Means a simple conversation can take weeks!Says James, in my opinion, there's nothing in this world

Well I am absolutely livid!!! I trawled this website and amanaged to get 2 tel no for Lastminute.com , and I called them . After 3 misrouted attempts finally got through to their customer relations dept , which I can only describe as a farce. They appear to have a "script" and if you deviate they just repeat what they told you. I eventually spoke to a supervisor who told me he could not speak to me until he had an email from my husband(as he booked it from work) authorising them to speak to me . I feel very frustrated and from what has happened so far , will NEVER EVER use them again. I am going to get DH to do what they ask and then try again ...........Any ideas what else I could do ??????       :mad:0

Just a final update .............
58 days later lastminute.com have sent an email apologising for the problem and have offered us a £50 voucher to use up until Dec 07 .
It just goes to show that with lots of patience and an e-mail every other day they can do customer service!0 -
Yes, a small profit but £50 which you HAVE to use with them isn't as good as £42 odd in cash, to most people. I don't think they are being particularly generous, to be honest.
Thanks for the update, anyway.I hope their service is better when you spend the £50 voucher.
