Remote control for DVD player

Hi, I have a Sky box with the remote.
I also have an old widescreen (i.e huge rear part) Panasonic Quintrix TX-28PL1 TV with remote.
I have this Sony DVD player: http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/model-home.pl?mdl=DVPNS305&LOC=3 but no remote for it.
Does anyone know if I can use either of the remotes to work the DVD player. Thx.
