Returning item- lost proof of postage

I returned some shoes I bought online and got given a proof of postage. As I had to wait 30 days to see this in my bank account I lost track of my proof of postage.

The company now claim they haven't received it. I did have a witness with me when I went to post it - a local business owner. Do you think this is an angle I can use? Has anyone succeeded with a similar situation?

Raise a complaint with the Post Office and put on the form that you have a witness. Worth a try.

Honestly? I don't think for one moment that a bloke saying he saw you post it counts as 'proof of postage'.

Have you 'lost' the POP or merely mislaid it? If merely mislaid then try and find it as you can use it to claim up to £41 from RM.
