Will cockatiels be too cold?

I have two cockatiels. I get cold very easily but I work from a home office and use a little heater in the cold weather. However, my cockatiels are in another room and I worry that they will be cold. It's not an option to bring them into the office because my job involves making calls and they can be very noisy! They are malting now, so it might be that they are warm enough, but I worry and end up putting the heating on on the colder days - just for the birds.

You really dont need to worry about them, especially as they are indoors. Cockatiels are very hardy and can and do spend winters in outside aviarys.
Ensuring the cage is not kept in a drafty spot with a good diet of good quality seed with lots of fruit and vegetables, fresh water and a plenty of stimulating toys and time to exercise they will be absolutley fine.
If your that worried you could always cover the cage with a light blanket at night and that will also help them have a good nights sleep with no distrating car headlights through the window or lights going on in the evening.Ant. :cool:0
