Quick recap of my situations.......Finished IVA with F&F May 2008 . I have approx 11 defaults on credit file, all paid but not dropping off until May 2011. I do not work ( have always been honest when applying for cards ) Also have mortgage and 3 current accounts and o2 contact on Credit File

Sept 08 Aqua Card........start £250, increased to £500 after few months.........closed.
Sept 08 Vanquis .............start £250 increased to £2300. Last increased a week ago, no balance
Aug 09 Cap One.............start £1000 increased to £2100.
Aug 09 Ulster Bank .......start £1000 increased to £1350 balance £300
December 09 Silver Mastercard ( sygma) ...start £2000 increased to £2600 , letter receased yesterday to say limit increased. Balance £60

I just wanted to show people who are trying to rebuilt their credit after problems it can be done . I only use cards for small amounts and I think the longest I have had a balance was for maybe 3 months. I currently owe £360 between cards. I also pay my CC bills when they come in not near the date due to make sure no way I forget I am going to close the Vanquis ( keep meaning to have not got around to it ) and Cap One.

So anyone who is trying to get Credit Card it can be done, I followed advice on here and ot mine, especially the " don't apply for to many at once" I had some declines also

I personally don't understand how you have had an incredible 11 defaults in the past, applied for another 5 credit cards 3 current accounts and say you don't work.
I don't think you are showing people advice by writing this,I think you are showing people look how much i've messed up in the past and by the looks of it if I am not careful I will be defaulting in the very near future as I am unemployed and won't be able to pay the lenders back.

    ADVICE LOL

believe me the idea was not to show " by the looks of it if I am not careful I will be defaulting in the very near future as I am unemployed and won't be able to pay the lenders back."

So many people " genuinely " want to rebuild there credit file after " messing up " does not mean they will get into debt again . Just wanted to show if you are sensible you can get credit again , just because it is available does not mean it has to be used.
