Where to sell used kids clothes

Hi,

Sorry If this has been asked a lot before (couldn't find it in a search) or if I've asked this in the wrong place, but....

Does anyone know of a good place to sell (not auction) used kids clothes? I have loads of really lovely barely used - and sometimes new and tagged - toddler clothes which I can't bring myself to sell for pennies at a carboot! I could do ebay but it takes forever photographing etc, so trying not to.

Are they any reputable 2nd hand shops online where I can just email & describe my stuff, get a quote and just send them the lot? I've found some places but as I've never heard of any of them, don't know who to trust. Anyone done this before?

Thanks :)

  • what about NCT (National Childbirth Trust), they have sales of new and nearly new. You may find yourself on a bit of a waiting list but once you get your 'slot' I think that means you can be 'in' for any future sales automatically. They hold sales in our local upper school, sort of indoor market/car boot type thing.

I do believe they take a percentage of your sales but not sure how much. maybe worth a look.

I was just about to suggest this.

They take 25% of the sale price. Have a look on their website where you can find your local branch and find out more about the upcoming sales. If you're near the border of another district you may be able to sell in more than one area...
They call me Dr Worm... I'm interested in things; I'm not a real doctor but I am a real worm.

Thanks for your replies. I'd like to do an NCT sale but they get booked up so far in advance I think it'll be too long a wait. So I might try Netmums to begin with. Thankyou! :)
  • Contact your branch first - ours often has spaces for sellers right up until the day of the sale. Depends how soon your next sale is though...
