keeping the coating/breadcrumb on chicken /fish

hello all

is there a fool proof way of keep the homemade coating on

i like to oven bake rather than deep fry but my coating never seems to stay on

any good tips pls ?

    I coat in flour, then beaten egg and then the breadcrums.

    Might be worth trying a small amount of melted butter in with the egg then chilling the prepared breaded items before oven baking if the basic breadcrumb method suggested doesn't work.
