A gift to say thank you

Mug sounds like a great idea.
I'd make a really big effort to make something super personal too, though. I think I'd probably buy a little folder, and write her lots of things that mean something important to you both, i.e.:- a short letter telling her what a difference her support has made to you and the family.
- get the children to draw a picture or two showing things they like doing with her, and annotate it for them so she knows what they have drawn.
- find a couple of poems on t'internet that were about friendship and print them out to add.
- Maybe also a recipe for her favourite food and a fun recipe for a fancy cocktail or something.
- Print out a few photos from 2 years through to the present day with funny captions.
- An open invite to call you for coffee and cake at any time in the future!
I'd imagine that something that obviously took time and a bit of effort, but not much money, would mean more than any chocolates and flowers. Something she could treasure.0 -
A mug would be perfect, a token of appreciation without monetary value being brought into the equation. And maybe a hand-drawn or hand-written thank you note from the children? Those sort of gifts are priceless.x0

I like the idea of printing the photo on the mug, but I think it might be even cuter to just print the photo in black and white with a nice black frame. It is classy, simple, but very meaningful. It might end up being cheaper and definitely quicker too!0
