Transfers to Les Arcs

Hi Everyone,

I have just booked a very last minute skiing holiday to Les Arcs. It's all inclusive... except for travel.

I have been looking around and they all modes seem to be about £200. any suggestions on how to get this down?

Has anyone done the bus from Victoria? Am I mad to even consider it?

Any transfer recommendation on transfer services from Geneva/ Lyon/ Grenoble? I plan to fly from Luton and those seem to be the most cst effective routes (Chambery is WAY more expensive)

Thanks

L

Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry. But by demonstrating that all people cry, laugh, eat, worry and die, it introduces the idea that if we try to understand each other, we may even become friends.

What about the snow train/Eurostar - Bourg St Maurice is directly below Les Arcs so another method to think about and far comfier than a coach

    Thanks very much...

The snow train would have been my preference... but was so expensive.

There is a company called bens buses that we use for France. Most resorts are only about £35-£50 from the main airports. Have used them a few times and they are pretty good. They should come up on a google search.

    Hope this helps

  • We're going end of March. 4 of us. Cheapest way we found was to rent a car (GVA). Gives you a bit of scope to travel around in resort too.
