Alliance and Leicester Current Accounts?

Do I need to have a job to open one?

I know it says pay in a minimum of £500 per month, which is not a problem, but am a housewife, so do not have an income IYSWIM

Currently have an account with FD, but with all the nonsense would like to change, and it is where my money for house/food/clothes etc goes into.

Provided you pay in £500 per month it shouldnt be a problem, if you want to run the gambit of AL. Put down how much you plan to pay into it.

    Hi Chelle

£500 from any account that's not another A&L account will be fine.

I assume you know about the refer-a-friend money? :)

Thanks Dan, yes I do know about the refer a friend money, also I saw on Quidco they are giving £50 if you open the account. Do you know if you can get the £50 with Quidco, and the £50 refer a friend money?

    Thanks

    Chelle

Not any more. They've changed the wording on the R-A-F voucher to...
New customers must open a Premier or Premier Direct Current Account by visiting a branch, by visiting https://www.alliance-leicester.co.uk or by calling 0800 015 8405. Applications from any other source are not eligible.
