It's apparently not within the guarantee period as it was bought from an Amazon seller and faulty products have to be returned within 90 days of the order date.

Thats interesting, I never knew that! Always thought it was 12 months on just about everything! Something I shall remember when buying from amazon in the future! Especially if im buying presents early for Christmas etc.

This is amazon's guarantee which can be as long as they want it to be but does not affect any statutory right.

I have decided to cut my losses and grugingly walk away. But I did want to name and shame the company:

    Greenair
    UNIT 2, 5 speirsbridge Terrace
    Glasgow G46 8JH.

    Telephone number 08448008812

This company on Amazon WILL expect you to return a product of your own accord.
This company WILL expect you to pay the returned postage and not refund you.
This company will take £5.00 from your refund, even if there product is faulty.

My advise to fellow Moneysavers is to avoid Greenair at all costs
Trinidad - I have a number of needs. Don't shoot me down if i get something wrong!!

I personally think you should have pursued it....
