Hi,
My husband has insurance on a unsecured loan he has (sickness, illness and unemployment).
He found out today there is a slim chance he could be getting made redundant and we wanted to check up on the t&c for the insurance so we know where we stand should he get made redundant.
We can't seem to find a copy of the t&cs at home or on the halifax website. Ringing their customer services is no good as we can never seem to get through!
Does anyone know how you go about claiming, what the "eligability" for claiming is etc?
We'd like to be forewarned incase there are hoops we need to jump through etc!
Thanks in advance.
Sarah

Policies did very from time to time but typically the following applied:
- no payment would be made for any wage given in lieu of notice.
- the first 28-31 days after redundancy wouldn't receive any payment.
- up to 12 monthly loan payments would be made while redundant.
You will need to persevere with the phone - branches don't deal with claims. Not sure if you could find a cheaper number via www.saynoto0870.com.0
