CTC Vs Childcare Vouchers

Hello,

My OH and I currently use childcare vouchers to pay for my Childminder. The amount varies depending on a 4 or 5 week month, but 4 days a week at £22 a day. So around £350 a month. I do 20 hours a week and OH a 37 hour week.

Our voucher scheme has changed through work recently and it's taking about 8 days to process everything and get to the Childminder. We have been advised maybe it would be easier to claim it via CTC instead. CTC have informed me we can get help up to 70%.

My income after tax/NI & (Childcare vouchers= £110) = 628.03
OH income after tax/NI & (Childcare vouchers= £220) = 1413.18

Any ideas which way we would be better off?

Many thanks :)
