eBay Registration Suspension - Feedback Manipulation

So I've just been suspended from eBay for 30 days. I have never, ever asked to buy/sell feedback scores.

Hours before my account was suspended, afew of my items were removed (unique Xbox live marketplace codes) -fair enough, bang to rights on those ones. But when I asked the Customer Service rep on chat, was the Digital Distribution policy breaches part of the reason I got suspended? She said "No, you were suspended for manipulation of the eBay Feedback system as stated above."

I asked for evidence/proof, of where in any of my listings I was doing this, and was denied. "I'm afraid we can’t share information about the specific evidence that led us to take action. By revealing how we became aware of this, we could help members intent on breaching the policy to avoid detection."


Luckly, I've not have any buyers waiting on items and feeling left in the lurch since being suspended. Anything I can do about this?

    It will probably take you longer than 30 days to argue thisi with ebay.

    Feedback manipulation though is a strange one, you don't have any terms in your auctions asking buyers to leave you feedback on safe receipt so you can leave feedback in return, or anything like that do you?

    you could ask someone you trust to look at your listings, like some of the more experienced posters here or on the ebay board?

    The only use of the word 'feedback', is at the end of my selling template that I've used for the past 8 years:

    -Only PayPal payment accepted
    -Items will be sent *enter method here*, after payment has been received
    -Feel free to message me with all questions, queries and extra picture requests
    -Feedback welcome
    If they are canning me for this, then its pretty pathetic.
  • Could it have been a competitor reporting you or some saddo with nothing better to do with their time?
    As soolin has said it will take more than 30 days to argue your case
    Some advice, do not list or sell in this time as you never know who is watching and before you list again find someone you can trust to go through your listings with a fine tooth coomb because if you get suspended again it could be pernament.
