Selling a house quickly?

Can anyone recommend any companies that will buy your house quickly for you?
We need to sell and move closer to my parents, but we are going into rented accomodation. The market seems slow here and they seem to take ages to sell
I was just doing some research and was wandering if anyone had any any experience of house buying companies
thanks in advance

Been done to death, weekly.
No-one here likes the quick-sell companies. They will give you 70%, then try and drop that to 60% at the last minute when you are desperate.
Might as well drop to 90% as a normal sale, and see who that attracts.Act in haste, repent at leisure.

I don't know if these are the same as a quick sell company so please don't flame me if they are but someone recomended to me 'Pure Aquisitions' -I have not really looked into them properly though!0

A quick look makes me believe they are not 'quick sell' so much as 'rip-off buy'.
You pay them, they 'help' you buy a house.
Hmmmm. Thinks.... I could make a fortune doing that.....
As for the OP; Recommendation? Don't!0 -
thanks for the replies
I did find one that said theyoffer you 80%
Thanks for the idea of putting the house on the market at 90% - might have to do it - we want to sell quickish so we can move
many thanks

I am in no way saying 'use them' but I think they try to sell your house by targeting investment buyers who pay to use them to source properties. However I don't see why this can't be done with an ordinary estate agents!! They just seemed a bit better that cash sale companies who charge admin fees and promise the earth and then nothing happens for 6 months!0 -
Jeez. Just lower the selling price to a level where it will sell and tell the EA to market it at that price. It'll still be higher than the dodgy we-buy-any-house companies.

agree with evoke houses are selling they just have to be priced at a reasonable selling price. Ask you agent for a realistic valuation and put your house on at that. There are no short cuts unless you want to lose a packet and some ......................0
