in Credit cards
hi
i currently have a lot of money i'm paying back to provident , my mother in law has offered to get a 0% on purchases credit card to pay this and i pay the card instead.
Just a question, if paying another loan considered a purchase and would be included in the 15 months intrest free ??
many thanks
charlotte

You won't be able to repay your loan with a credit card (unless provident accept CC payments but this would be unusual for a loan co).
If your MiL has offered to get a 0% card she could try getting a card that allows super balance transfers and has a 0% deal on balance transfers.
That would allow her to transfer the money to your current account (for a fee of around 3-4%) which you could then use to pay off the loan.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0
