account theft, help !

Help, my eBay account details have been stolen and there are high value goods on there, I've emailed eBay but no answer yet, and I can't cancel the high value items listed fraudulently, can anyone help ???

Also, in future, if you EVER get any emails that look like they're from eBay but ask for your eBay log in details, then DO NOT click on any links or fill in any details. These are phishing/scam emails used to get your details so the scammers can use your account fraudulently.

Thanks for that ! Live Help have sorted it for me, didn't even know that was there ! I knew about the spoof eBay messages and always report them, I also get spoof Hotmail Staff ones which I should start to report.

Glad to hear i was able to help and you have got it sorted The reason i mentioned the scam emails was because i was wondering if that was the way the hacker got your details.

Live Help is very well hidden for some reason, bit like their non exsistant phone number!

I'm not sure where i found out that little gem as i've been eBaying for 5 years now, but its REALLY handy when you need eBay's help asap.

Go on the usa ebay the live help is there all the time and has been for a very long time,there should be one for the uk or have i missed something is this a uk live help?
