Hi
We bought one from Argos for about £20. I have used both branded and unbranded strippers and have found that the Argos unbranded model works just as well as any other that i have tried0 -
Try to get one that sits on the floor and has a tube going up to the head.
I don't know if they still make them, but the all in one versions are heavy to use all the time.
Try freecycle first, bootsales is where I got mine from.“Pleasure of love lasts but a moment, pain of love lasts a lifetime.”0 -
if its a one off, and you don't want to store it, have you thought of hiring one?
I did this, and it was an industrial one that was twice as fast as the cheaper argos ones - didn't cost much either, less than a tenner for 24 hours, if I remember rightly. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -

Don't bother - waste of time as most end up 'blowing' the plaster..
Get a scorer like this
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Stanley-Maxi-Orbital-Wallpaper-Scorer/dp/B0001IWE4G
then soak with warm water and washing up liquid, then scrape......
Does the job very well.....0
