New combi boiler - kitchen or bedroom?

The large pipe that takes out the boiler combustion products, is actually two pipes in one.
The outer pipe takes air into the boiler, where it is burned, then it is blown out through the inner pipe to the outside, so an airbrick is not neccessary as the air the boiler uses does not come from inside the room.
Another point with a combi boiler - you may struggle if you have a 'power shower', as these showers can pump water faster than a combi boiler can heat it up.
Last point if a combi boiler goes faulty, you've lost everything, Heating, hot water. With a hotwater tank you would still have an electric imersion heater to fall back on.

So where is your hot water stored if not in a tank? if no hot water storage, then you have a combi bolier and the hot water is 'on demand'.
That's right, it's a Baxi 105e Combi. But the Hot Water Temp control dial has a preheat function too. If this is switched on, the boiler activates for a few minutes at least once an hour. Enough to wake one up during the night  hence it is switched off.0 -
I personally would not have it in the bedroom for the Carbon Monoxide risk - yes they are sealed and have sensors, but it could be badly fitted or go wrong.0
