I have just bought a new Laptop and when i switched it on a warning bow opened up and said Windows Firewall has blocked this program (oovoo) so we dont know whether to carry on and install it or not, also the new laptop came with a Full version of Bullguard which we installed on the Laptop but Bulldog found McAffee already on but we left it on not sure what to do and the next time we switched the laptop on it seemed to be running slow can anyone offer advice to me please.

Yep, oovoo looks like its just a skype style program so doesn't look malicious. Its probably slow because you have 2 anti-virus scanners installed, these will conflict with eachother and cause issues.
The thing to do is go into control panel then add\remove programs. have a look down the list and remove oovoo, bullguard, McAfee and anything else that you don't need.
Then download microsoft security essentials or AVAST. These are free anti-virus scanners that do just as good a job as bulldog or mcafee.0 -

So i'm guessing you've now managed to find the add\remove programs bit in windows 7. If so i'd also remove bullguard as i find it slows machines down greatly. Do that and install microsoft security essentials.
Google microsoft security essentials and it should take you to it.0 -
If its still slow, click the windows 'start' button at the bottom left of the screen and in the search box type msconfig and press enter.
Click the startup tab at the top and untick everything in there, reboot and see if its any quicker.
Once you reboot, if you're missing something then go back into msconfig and retick it.0 -
