My order arrived yesterday afternoon by Parcel Force.
Exactly as ordered and I've been refunded the £9 already from KGBDeals and Topcashback money has gone to "confirmed".
Tasted the Merlot last night and it was decent enough.
Less than a £1 per bottle. :money:

Mine worked out at about £1.50 a bottle and is pretty good stuff but the WAIT WAS ridiculous!!!

I didn't get a refund from KGB but never mind - Wine received all present and correct!!

Have you rang them? I did, and mine are long gone. Wouldn't order off them again though.

Symposium Wines are obviously out of their depth.

When contacting them to see why I had not yet received my wine ordered on 7th April I received the following:

Dear Mike

with KGB vouchers orders, we take around two weeks or more for delivery, all other orders are dispatched at usual timing

This is because the high numbers of orders and as well for the price we gave , from this deal we get only 5 pounds from the voucher and the customer pay to us only the delivery charge. So we organize delivery in a cheaper way to afford this big investment , plus the new increase of alcohol duty and transport of three weeks ago did not help!!

We are try to dispatch every orders b4 Easter but unfortunately your will be derived after Easter as we had too many request for delivery this Thursday and we can not really make it

So it seems that because they are reducing the cost of the wine as part of the KGB promotion, they try to recover some of this by using a much cheaper delivery service.

Now their website says very little about delivery, but as I paid £5.99 for delivery, as a separate line item on my invoice, I think I should expect a proper courier type delivery as I have had from the other wine supply companies that I have used before.

Shoddy company really - stay well clear!

I'll now contact KGB to see what they make of Symposium's sob stories.

I ordered my wine on 26th March, arrived 19th April but it was one bottle short no response to emails as yet, will definitely aviod in future. My son who ordered his wine on the same day has still not received his.
