I think you can return it in 7 days to your nearest store, if it's 'refurbished' condition is poor.0

I have looked at them before but not bothered but only because i don't really know what they mean by refurb. Does it mean the guarantee is void?

I bought one of the Refurb Logik 2Gb I think it was which they were selling a couple of weeks ago purely down to the price. I wasn't taken by it at all when it arrived even at the cost.
From pressing the power button it took about one and a half minutes to get to the point you could play a song, buttons were unresponsive and would freeze when you tried to turn it off again. I informed Currys of this by email and requested a refund. I then receive a reply saying a replacement will be sent! Second time around a refund was given once I'd written on the returns slip this was all I'd accept.
Maybe I was just unlucky and received one which slipped the net when they were being refurbished, but it put me right off buying refurb'ed goods from Currys again.
Hopefully others will have better luck with this player.0 -
Can't see the point of buying an MP3 player (no matter how cheap) *unless* there's a big screen & an easy way of navigating (pref scroll wheel).....can you imagine the amount of button clicking involved if you've got something like 10,000 MP3s on there?!0

I have a 1G refurbished logik mp3 from currys. It had a 1 year gurantee so i felt that it was worth doing. I have never had any problems with mine and find it a really esy to use.Debt free May 2016 (without the support of MSE forum users that would never have been possible - thank you all)0

Thought I'd Update you now that I received mine today.
Have to say it's hard to impress me, but boy what a great gadget. First off, this 6GB device has a OLED dot matrix display (blue & yellow). Looks amazing. It's not a massive screen, but it is extremely clear. The button presses problem mentioned by a previous poster do NOT apply to this model.
Yes it's refurbished but you couldn't really tell apart from the manual. Note that this device has the letters logik on the front which fall off, but (!) it looks better without them anyway (honest !). The front is brushed STEEL (not plastic), and appears solidly built, nothing cheap about the buttons or display. Sound quality is superb, with 20 equaliser settings. You can search
by artist, album, Genre, year, etc. Also has random, and you can search via it's internal Explorer.
Transferring tracks is straight forward, either using Windows Media or it's supplied Audio phile software.
All in all, one of the best gadgets I bought in a long time, and a bargain ! Grab one if there are any left !0 -
To those that have this already - is the battery life really 10 hours? Is the AC adapter dual voltage (can I charge it up with 110V mains when outside Europe?)0

I bought the 4gig version over a month ago and have to agree with a previous poster, in that I found it very difficult to use, the menus seem to go the long way round, (a lot of button presses to get to where you want to go for the simplest thing) and the lithium battery runs out very quick, lately in under an hour and a half. The sound quality is really really good though.
But for a hard drive it would be handy, so a mixed review from me!I always wanted to be a procrastinator, never got round to it...0
