thats the right one moozie

I would say 100pw for 2 adults & 2 kids is a fair old amount on food- there are plenty of us doing about half that ( me & partner on 25pw for all cooking, cleaning lunches) but theres other moneysavers doing way better than us :money: have a good look on the old style board.
Id also say, whats the prognosis for that stuff in storage? Can you sell any of it? Or move to a cheaper storage. you are paying out over 600pa on this
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
I would reckon that your housekeeping is the best place to start immediately.
Check out hte moneysavingO/S boards but essentially you need to
a) plan meals for the coming week/fortnight ( include snacks etc if needed)
b) from these meal plans write out shopping lists
c) stick to them lol when out shopping
d) cook the meals youve planned
dead easy !!!! and will save you a fortune if you do it properly
Always use up anything form your fridge/freezer cupboards and aim never to throw any food out.
start a spending diary for all your spending as from today ( no time like the present) Note the date andeverything you spend and what it was on.
Then start on your storage - try to get rid of anything you dont want or cant accomodate so you can save that money.
Good luck

Cahoot £6,000 not paying anyone at the moment
Barclays £11,000 Paying £1
egg £11,000 paying £1
Adams £300 not paying anyone at the moment
Burtons (CCJ) £1400 paying £1
Natwest £1,000 paying £1
this comes out as £31,000 so i might either over estimate in my first post or screwed up my estimates
Hi debtCollector, well most of my creditors were more than happy to accept a token payment - i just wrote to them with my budget and offer of £1 per month after talking to the cccs and the cab for advice . only one took me to court (burtons) but i still only pay them £1 although its a CCJ.
i found this site very helpful http://www.nationaldebtline.co.uk/en...t_advice.php#3
Thanks Simon.......
