Money in 1923

My Grandmother had a life insurance policy which was worth £11 and 4 shillings in 1923. The company has paid out now £11.23p. We have not cashed this cheque as we are trying to work out how much £11 and 4 shillings in 1923 would be worth now. Can anyone help or direct me to a website that can work out this conversion.
Many thanks.

£11.23 in 1923 is equivalent to £406.65 in 2006

Did the policy say it would increase with inflation or not?0
