Hello
:j :T :j …wait for it… my CC is £1897.66!!!! Oh deary me, how nice does that look?! That baby is going down! :j :T :j
Now thinking how I can clear another either £7.66 or £97.66 or maybe £47.66 so I can get it to a nice round figure
Other things:
Porridge breakfast
Did a survey
Did not get the bus!
Checked banking and cc
Finish knitting
Devise a not-going-to-spend-any-money plan for March
Early night
Boring really
:grouphug:0 -
lol well done on the cc La E- looks good
OMG last night BIL and SIL asked us if we would like to go to Centerparcs at Longleat with them in November for a weekend 5 day break!! I have always wanted to go there and it is on my 101 things list
The DFW thing is they wont let us pay!!! They said it is a treat to say sorry for not coming to our wedding in Cyprus in May. It has cost about £300. I have enough tesco vouchers to get us all into Longleat for free so that helps them out a bit and also thought we could take them out for a meal to say thank you!! So excited!!
Today
Look up Centerparcs activities
Look up things to do in Cyprus
Use up stock items for dinner - threw all veg we had in the slow cooker with a little bit of beef for OH this morning!
Put bread on
Housework
Carry on sorting out CD's for music magpie
Homework with the kids
Arrange rules for pocket money with the kids
Bought the girls a little money box each yesterday. They don;t get pocket money as we just buy everything for them! There was a MSE thread which OH found where someone gave interest to the children if they didn't spend their money that week and charged interest if they wanted to borrow money to buy something big. I though this could be a good lesson for them. Would be good for them to have an idea of money and how long it takes to build up the money for something!Orange Fairy

Littlekel, we went to Centreparcs Longleat last year and loved it to bits, every minute of it (although I wish I'd been a bit less indulgent with regard to eating out - ouch!). Wish we could afford to go again, actually (we took the girls out of school for a week as it was).

Hi all and HAPPY HUMP DAY!
I've totally had enough of this week and can't wait to get to the weekend!
On the plus side, I did manage my first NSD of the month yesterday, not today as I needed milk for work.
In the meantime, today I have/will:
-walked to work
-walking home
-checked onepoll, did one survey, total is £29:25 now
-checked pigsback
-all searches through swagbucks
-bought lunch in with me (but i did have a choc bar and coffee, and a slice of soreen from superdrug at lunch)
-wrote down all spending
-checked bank, and need to update spreadsheet tonight
-gently reminded friends that i need the cash they owe me for other friends birthday present (i hate doing this, but otherwise it gets forgotten, does this make me a bad person? Asking?)
-going to start having a bit of a sort out, more ebay stuff
-looked on ebay for other laptops like mine to watch
Can't think of anything else at the mo

Hello :j
It is quiet on here today
:eek: re dentist - I am not a fan either. That reminds me, I have had a call to tell me to change an appointment, so must do that.
Longleat is not a million miles from me either - I used to take the kids, more recently the grandkids(to the safari park though, not centre parcs though).
Today:
Checked online banking
Got a mortgage balance, and it is under 30k now - its days are numbered :j:j
Porridge and a banana for breakfast
Got a free lunch unexpectedly! This however was due to a meeting I was dumped into at zero notice with an external agency  2 hours of ad lib b******t deserves a couple of sandwiches I think, and I did tell director person that he owes me a beer or three (assuming I drink beer, which I don't).
Free paper on train to work
Bunked off a bit earlier due to late external meeting yesterday, stressful unexpected one today, and difficult tele international conference this afternoon (isn't my job lovely )
HM supper from stores - mackerel fillets, new potatoes, creamed leeks and peas. V. nice. It was mackerel that OH caught a while ago, then froze and they needed using up. Enough is left over to make fish cakes for tomorrow
Masterchef on telly then bed I think!0
