Hi
Anyone else had this problem and how was it resolved?
Purchased above car at weekend only to find after driving a few miles the rear electric doors wouldn't open, then when it opened it wouldn't close. Returned to garage and it well and truly jammed open. Top of door tries to move / bottom wouldn't budge. Eventually they closed it manually. Has worked since. garage have booked it in to strip it down and look at it and have said they will fix it at their cost.
When we viewed the car the week before, the same door jammed but as we had pressed a few buttons inside and taken the key out of the ignition etc, the saleman convinced us it was due to this process of events and the doors were never a problem etc etc. Seemed plausible at time as on latter occasion they then worked fine.
So, I'm looking for any further info before the car goes back in so I can make it clear that a 'grease of the mechanism' isn't sufficient!!! Have been reading some horror stories of the electric doors openeing while drviing at 60mph in the States - would like to know UK driver experiences.
TIA

If only I could stop finding good bargains on this site, I would save a fortune! :rotfl:
