A yellow card...

When I ask questions I get threatened with being banned...is that right?
Dunno. Depends on the question you asked? Probably deleted by now is it? Your not the first and you wont be the last to get a yellow card tho.
All I can say is that Consumer Rights isn't the friendliest of places. In the years I've been reading MSE that board isn't somewhere I'd go to ask for help unless I was up for a fight.
You guys might be reaping what you sowed and got a new board guide to make sure you do? Again, just an observation and I've no real interest in it. I just followed the link on a boring night on DT.
I'm off. Interesting chatting with ya.0 -

That is the funniest thing I've heard from a DT regular.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -

From what I've seen there are a number of unfriendly and unhelpful posters on both this board and Consumer Rights. They seem to get pleasure from belittling and ganging up on people who want help.
Frankly the CR board has improved immeasurably since squeaky has been around and reduced this.0 -

There is also a lot of people who dictate that their information of the SOGA is the be all and end all and that an alternative is not allowed by shops in what they do to rectify a problem..
so a nice balance thenone of the famous 50 -

Not really. Having a cheap pop at someone who is really upset is so much easier than trying to explain something rationally to them. OK, they may not see what is being said at first, but so what? Give them time to calm down and they might. Or they just have to accept it.
So some folk up this end of MSE might know their stuff, but their communication skills are really lacking. If it stops people who really need help posting on these boards it is really bad.
MSE is getting a reputation for being a nasty place to seek advice. If MSE towers are getting involved on boards it is probably because they need to address that problem, and rightly so!
As someone earlier said - you reap what you sow.My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead

gordi, according to mostlycheerful you also started the thread in DT(?!!) ... or at least I think that's what she meant, she makes little sense. She is apparently watching me, do you fancy joining me so she can watch us together?
I think she's a he. Don't worry, mostlycheerful thinks I'm a troll too so you're in good company (or bad...depending on your perspective)
