Hi, I have been served notice of redundancy from the NHS and will finish on 31st march, if I apply for a job now, outside of the NHS and was succesful and had a start date of April, would I still be entitled to redundancy pay?
Any advice be gratefully received.

Yes, unless it was another Public Sector job in which case you might have to repay it.
Edit: Had a look at AfC & you only need repay it if you are transferred to another public sector employer or you rejoin the NHS with less than 1 months break in service. If you went through an open recruitment process then no repayment is needed0 -
however i would keep it on the down low until you had your official notice given EG you are actually working the x weeks notice...
i only say this because where we are we will know on the 18th if we are going but they will stagger giving notice according to what workstream you are working on to make sure that projects etc etc are finished.... because if they're making me redundant i'll feel so very driven to give 100% at work!!!!!!
