Is designated car parking a taxable benefit?

Hi there!
Can anyone advise me if a designated parking space at your place of work is a taxable benefit? I seem to be reading mixed thoughts on this, some websites say that it IS NOT taxable if there is a 'free for all' approach, however if you are provided with a named - allocated space, then this is taxable.
