Ema and child support

I am a single parent and work full time. My daughter will be entitled to an ema because of my income level. I sometimes get money from her father which has been set a high amount by the csa as he is a high earner. His payments are unpredictable though. Will her ema be reduced because of this child support?
My tax credits do not take into account child support.

My understanding is that EMA is calculated on your previous tax year's income, although I don't know if that would include your ex's contributions. But it does mean that if it DOES, and he paid what he was supposed to last year, then it might affect your daughter's EMA. And again next year, if he pays what he's supposed to this year, she might get it then but not the year after. (I do hope that makes sense.)
There's more about EMA on the Benefits board so a trawl of that might help, or checking out direct with wherever you apply for it from, IYSWIM.Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
It made sense, thank you.0
