My son has just left day nursery. They were really worried about the impact of the change in law from Sep that children can start school the September they turn five. They said they made all their profit on the 3/4 years olds and the change in law will see some of them starting school earlier than they used to. So research the impact in your LA! The pre school up the road is closing in September too due to low numbers. However, there must always be a market for high quality childcare with the increase in working mums!
