Lloyds TSB & Experian

Hello Everyone.

I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on the following matter. Back in 2008 I opened a Lloyds TSB current account. I received my card and pin to shortly followed by a letter stating my account was to be closed, that was fine at the time. I never had any transactions go through the account or anything.

My question is: This account shows one green zero and is settled. Does a settled account affect my credit score at all, as the account was never used do you think they would remove it from my credit report altogether as it looks stupid showing one green zero then showing as settled.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

They won't remove it no as it is factual information that the account was opened and subsequently closed.

It won't have a negative effect on your credit file.
