Bit of a draft question on Credit Card Budgeting

Okay here goes I have a Barclaycard and LTSB MasterCard, I pay both in full each month, but I hardly ever use the Barclaycard.
Both are paid by Direct Debit, the Barclaycard is paid on the 15th of the month and the MasterCard on the 30th.
That means a large debit on the 30th of each month, I though it I split my purchases over the 2 cards I would have 2 smaller debits, one on the 15th and the other on the 30th, rather than one big one on the 30th.
Does this make sense ?, I also means I could keep more of a balance in my Vantage account earning 4%, well 2 weeks more if I have worked it out correctly.

No point in doing it just to keep the 2 amounts similar in size. If you do it to keep the money in your bank account for longer you will have to use one card for the first 2 weeks of its statement period and the other for the rest of the month, I certainly wouldn't bother.loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.0

He's wanting to do it not to have similar amounts but to pay a smaller bill on 30th. It makes sense to me! I would ring them to see when your billing dates are.0

You sure? If he only spends on the card that has a payment date on 15th then the bill on the 30th will be £0. This achieves what you claim was required.loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.0
