Housing Benefit Query

Hi I have just had to claim JSA again after my temporary contract ended it was a rapid reclaim,also I am in receipt of housing benefit of £17 per week due to what I was earning.my question is do I inform the Local Authority that I am now signing on again or is this an automatic thing

I would inform them

What should happen is the la will get a copy of your rapid reclaim form and should be notified by an etd (electronic transfer data) but just incase anything gets lost or doesnt notify the la automatically I would say give them a ring
