I used one of the Barclays self service machines this morning to make a payment from my account which normally goes through Faster Payments.

I've just checked my statement and it is listed as a "Funds Transfer" as opposed to a "bill payment".

Has anyone used these machines before? Is this normal?

Probably, all my fast payments into the account are usually listed as counter credits, so I don't pay much attention to the categorisation now.
  • bill payment goes by faster payment normally
funds transfer is similar to bill payment so its normal i see it a lot on statement
