Santander appear to have just released a current account with up to £1,200 0% EAR (variable) Arranged Overdraft. No Daily Arranged Overdraft Fee for the first 12 months, for customers who switch to them. Presumably this may be suitable for the poster.
Unfortunately I don't take home after tax £1000 a month which is required. Thanks though.0 -
Could you take out the shortfall by cash and then pay it back later so £1000 a month overall is paid in?
Having said that, I wouldn't advise going to Santander!0 -

Thing is I could only do that for 3 months and I think from the sounds of the overdraft set up if you don't pay the £1000 in you lose the overdraft I could be wrong however.0 -
If you just need a back up card to get cash abroad in emergencies, how about the Halifax Clarity Credit Card?
No fees to use abroad, and if you get the 12.99% rate, the interest is not too bad.
However, I would agree......it is a very bad idea to be borrowing money to finance a trip abroad.0
