Have estate agents started getting wise to this as I've noticed that lots of properties come up with today's date as the initial listing date?
Anyone else noticed that? It used to be a really useful resource, and far more comprehensive than propertysnake.

Yeah, I've noticed this. I've gone onto Zoopla and seen properties marked as having been listed a month or two ago, but the Property Bee on Rightmove says they've only just gone on.
I don't know how the EAs do it though. I've got loads of saved houses in my account and many of these which have had sales fall through have gone back on with brand new dates.0 -
It means they've took the property off and back on. More of a sign of a bored EA with nothing better to do, or a numpty one who pressed the wrong button at some point.0

Don't think this is the case as the ones I'm watching have never gone off the market. When I mentioned property bee to an EA I know he asked me if I was one of those 'weird property stalkers'. Hmmm- well yes, I suppose I am.0 -
Don't think this is the EA's - unless they've banded together and got a computer whizz onto sabotaging propertybee. I bought a new desktop recently and when I downloaded propertybee it listed everything as going on the market that day - even though I know that some have been on for months. And on my laptop, where I downloaded propertybee a couple of years ago, it shows all the correct information. So it's something to do with downloading it now - don't know what, I'm not good at techie things. Might be worth emailing propertybee, if that's possible.
Propertybee will pick up on properties that have been taken off the market and relisted, providing it's with the same agent.0 -
I actually agree with this, noticed it a couple of days ago.
We are looking in 2 different areas for a flat. One area frequently has 'new' houses on which actually have been on before. I have a feeling a couple of the estate agents in this area must have caught on to it and have found a way to make these changes.0 -
Have you remembered to "join a bee"..?
Firefox updates that go out, sometimes reset your configuration, leaving you "out of a bee".Act in haste, repent at leisure.

Took the property off their website(Or just off rightmove) and re-added it - not the same as taking it off the market.
Ooo I'm one of those WPS I spose.

Thanks for the tip. I've just downloaded the latest update- released Feb 25 but I can't find the join a bee link you mentioned. Where is it on the home page?
