I have put this on the DFW board too - apologies but I am need of your help !
Does anyone know if you can log your debts in MS Money 98.
I found a heading called 'Credit Card Debt' which I am sure that I can manipulate to record all my debts and debt payments but just couldn't work it out.
I absolutely love Money 98 so if I could add this to it, it would be a real bonus.
Looking forward to your assistance.

Thanks to MSE I cleared £37k of debt in five years and I was lucky enough to meet Martin to thank him personally.

I have opened an account called " Misc. Bills " and I enter all outstanding bills as I get them so I know my overall financial position.
When I pay the bill I just transfer it to the relevant bank a/c.
Hope this helps.0 -
I haven't got any now but I definitely used to have debt accounts showing. I had seperate accounts for things such as those Buy Now Pay Later purchases.
I'm using Money 2006 so I'm not sure how you did it back in Money 98.
This is how you do it in Money2006 - Create a new account, when opening the new account select the Other account type and use the Liability option.0 -
Thanks for your help guys.
Cypher - It works like that in Money 98 too.
