Urinary Tract Infection

Im just wondering if anyone can tell me how long a UTI infection is likely to last for once treatment has started.
I noticed our 2yr old dwarf hamster was bleeding last week and we took her to the vets who diagnosed her with a UTI - shes been prescribed antibiotics which we are giving to her twice a day but the bleeding has still not stopped, infact I would say I seem to be finding even more on her bedding now than before. Id have thought the antibiotics would have started working by now!

I'd be taking her back to your vet, I would have expected at least some improvement by now.

DD2's hamster had the same thing last year, the bleeding stopped a few days after starting antibiotics. I would take her back to the vet.
