Please note, answers don't constitute financial advice, it is based on generalised journalistic research. Always ensure any decision is made with regards to your own individual circumstance.
There is obviously something in it, as Facebook has around 500 million members, and twitter has famous people posting their activities, but I for one pass on the whole concept, probably as I don't follow the crowd I guess!
These are re-tweeted but if the terms change like on the travel money card and people are not including the link back to this website in their tweets then people might be misled into signing up for deals they think are about to end.
Early days, and you only learn by experience.
Many Thanks Chargrill:T:T
In general there are people who know an enormous amount about any subject. However you will not hear from them as commercial confidentiality requirements, or company bans on any public observations by their employees will mean they do not contribute to public forums etc.
Then there are those who know just a little about about a subject...either from being a sub-supplier in the industry in their work or from a hobby. However these people indeed realise how little they really know about the precise complexities of the subject - and hence in general they refrain from commenting.
Finally we get to the group who think they know everything - but in practice know absolutely nothing. You know the type who rant about how "easy" is is to run a bank they could do it (no they couldn't)
Unfortuntely it is from this final group that we get all the comments, letters to the editor, rants on BBC phone in programs..........
What amazes me is how two pretty useless things could become so popular, facebook looks like
it was designed on the back of a fag packet, twitter is basically having a conversation with yourself!!
Both complete rubbish!!
Both have extremely limited functionality which they miraculously combine with being difficult to use!!
They make MSE look good!! Now that's saying something!!
