Nah I'm having none of that, people on here have been "reffered" to some well dubious lenders after using the Lower My Bills service, it's fact as it comes up on here on a regular basis :rotfl:

Funnily enough,I got a 'recorded' phonecall around 6pm today from an American telling me I'd been randomly chosen & won a flight to Flori....I'd hung up at this point..

Lower my bills....... About as useful as a one legged man at an @rse kicking competition..... And probably as frustrating......

Just received another spam call related to the Vanquish application,this time from LD Finance about my 'application' on the following number; 02034685951
So in the past couple day's I've had three marketing calls,one recorded call telling me I've won a holiday to Florida & a silent call...And the bloke from LD admitted my application for a Vanquish card had been declined & Vanquish had passed my details on!

Vanquis are the reptiles of the credit card world, they feed on the bottom so that's what you'd expect.

Never heard of anyone being declined at Vanquis though, normally if you're alive and human that's enough.

I was suprised that the bloke told me over the phone,I thought that was against the DPA or something,still,I haven't heard anything back from Vanish as yet tho...

Ahhh so you haven't been declined then by Spankquis yet then?

You may get into their very resonable 62.5% interest band if you're lucky.

I would always try Cap1, Barclaycard or even Spaqua before Vanquis.

There's another bloody call! I'm getting sick of this now!....Any idea who I can report this to? I ticked the box 'do not pass my details on' on the application & since yesterday all I'm getting are calls for loans,silent calls & hang ups!
The last one didn't even speak English !!!!!!!!

Well,I just phoned Vanquish Bank..(7p a minute) & after being on hold for 2 minutes,was given the following phone number;
08000190905,their banking team...
So I called it..got a recorded message that they had tried to call me but if I pressed #1,I could speak to an advisor...Pressed #1...got the same message & was cut off!!

Just called the Financial Ombudsman & they are starting the complaint procedure.
