Anyone currently using Smartstamp?

I can't print my postage as it says it can't communicate with the server. :rolleyes:

Anyone else having the same trouble or is it just my account? It says it can't see my transactions as there is a problem with my account. I wondered if anyone else was getting the same message. Can someone check their account on Smartstamp for me. If you log in and them look at your account balance it says it to the left hand side of this and no balance is showing.

Royal Mail Site is undergoing maintenance, it should display a page stating this.

Not Smartstamp, but I found online postage was down from Friday night and didn't come back online until yesterday (Sunday) night. I don't know about Smartstamp as I only use the no extra charge online postage service.

I didn't get any pages stating maintenance. All I kept getting was.

Occasionally it did say there was a problem, and the service will be unavailable for a while.

Smartstamp was "off" during last weekend, was "on" for a while on Monday 20th, "off" again Monday evening... and still "off" as of 7.15am Tuesday. Smartstamp seems to be rather like the health service... a good idea, but no-one seems to be able to get it to work properly... I think I'll get a franking machone - I need stamps when *I* want hem, not when Royal Mail feels like letting me have them.

Old thread I found but its down again at the moment as well.

I would say though that having used it for some years, it doesnt go down very often. Its just frustrating when it does only shortly before your postbox collection is due.
