You still need to update Malwarebytes, go into safe mode with networking and try updating.

I managed to get rid of it by running the windows defender anti virus thingy in safe mode and it deleted it. It then did a full virus scan which took ages but hopefully it`s gone.0

In safe mode, not able to select it in normal but so far it has found 2 infected objects, still running will post log as soon as it finishes.0 -

Re-run Malwarebytes in normal mode with full scan if you can.
If MBAM runs remove anything it may find and post the log file.
If MBAM won't run in normal mode try rKill again (don't restart your pc after running rkill) and then try MBAM.
If you find System Tools is still causing problems then you may have to turn off your system restore files and re-scan with MBAM but only as a last resort.0 -

Follow the simple instructions it gives

If it comes up with a RENAMING error then RIGHT click the exe file and RENAME and call it QWERTY (Making the complete file name 'QWERTY.exe') Or SAVE as 'QWERTY' on download
