I've used neat white vinegar before on a badly marked shower cubicle. Alternatively, toilet limescale remover might work?

Is it clear plain glass? If so, try a paint scraper to remove the limescale, before cleaning with Viakal again.

Limelight is the best limescale remover I have ever used but I recommend the gel over the sprayable version. It even works underwater (in the toilet bowl)

You may never be able to get the water marks off now, we use to have this problem of hard water really bad in our area , in the end we got a water softner fitted, best money ever spent. Is it possible for you to get water softner?.............now a shower unit lasts forever ,where before we had a new shower every 2 yr due to hard water build up, same with washing machine..............no more water marks either.....

Hi Shegar, yes I think you're right the marks are there for good unfortunately, may well have to consider a water softener in the future.x

If you can take the door off, I would get it off so you can lay it horizontal so you can really soak it in limescale remover to soften it and then scrape off. There's no reason why limescale shouldn't come off - it's not a stain, it's a build up, but you just need to get really vigourous with it.
  • Hi, I'll like to get a softner too. Especially for the shower. WHich did you get?
The water is very hard where I live now. My scalp and skin are dry and flaky; and the shower door, toilet bowl and kitchen sinks are becoming stained though tey're all brand new.
