Tuesday 1st March - What small DFW things will you be doing today?!

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free :money:
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.:T
Goooood morning to you all.....we're into March now, Spring is on its way:beer: It's easier getting up when not pitch dark too....I love this time of year:D I'm signed up for the NSD chanllenege again - was all pleased that I resisted a diet coke at lunchtime yesterday...then realised it wasn't quite March so couldn't count it yet:rotfl:
Hope everyone well and had a good Monday. The thread's gone a bit quieter again...
Do join us and post a list - it does keep you focused...and we're quite a friendly bunch;)
Ok - time for my list:

Good morning all! Happy March everyone - it was really light here too when I got up this morning, nice!
I'm on here to keep focused too if you don't mind?
As for me today my DFW list is;
Use money made from a sale yesterday to pay 2/3 of car tax (boo!)
Take lunch for work
Eat all food I take to work and don't buy any - fruit, cake, squash and lunch
Have a look at shopping list to see if I need to buy anything today on a spendy day
Read at least 3 papers for assignment and attempt to write the first section
That's about it apart from must use up the chickpeas in the fridge for tea in a stew
Catch you all later and have a good day!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Cyfarchion Dydd Gwyl Dewi Sant to all you Welsh people out there and also to Josie who was born in Wales and still regards it as home!
And good morning to the rest of you on St David's Day too! Okay, I'm going in for some early overtime in a moment so must be quick here.
So far I have:- checked banking
- checked for surveys
- made a lunch to take to work
- fed and watered chickens
- charge mobile at work - forgot yesterday and it keeps beeping at me!
- do at least 2 hours overtime - @ time and a quarter :mad::mad:
- see if anyone wants eggs tomorrow as we have a glut of them again
- deliver tablecloth to a "customer"
- read at lunchtime to avoid the shops, especially the naughty bakery which dragged me inside yesterday and forced me to buy (and eat) three hot cheese straws and an almond croissant
:o
- all meals from stores
- cut out another corset sample tonight
- have an NSD

I love St David's Day. DD looked so cute going to school in her welsh costume this morning, daffodil in hand. Am half tempted to wear mine to work but think maybe not.
today i will
check banking
fill out DD's passport form (not very MSE but the holiday was a bargain)
try not to eat too many welshcakes
training later - my turn to take biscuits (not MSE or good for my waist line
lift to training so saved me petrol
timesheet
start sorting through fabric (Stitchy you make me want to start sewing again)
that'll do for now. happy tuesday and first day of March everyoneGoals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -

:rotfl:I posted that and then checked my emails and of course found it! Sitchy I was thinking plain scarlett and watever is the easiest option - I have a tendancy to take the hardest option in life but I am fighting it as I gt older!!! The least time working & the most having fun is high on my agenda these days :T
ps re the ship or the sun this is most likely the truth! My mum owned the prince albert at the bottom of the high street for a while but then that closed and we were always frequenting the watering holes I used to have to tag along.... she went out with billy coe for a while and used to hang around with clive drury?
anyway better go!DF as at 30/12/16
