Lol JC67, we too used to have it on our holidays in a caravan.JC67 wrote:Yes I remember it well - it came in a can which was meant to serve 4 but there was never enough! It was my families special treat that we had when we were on holiday in our caravan (don't know why).
I am so pleased that so many of you remember it. What a shame they do not do it anymore.
I would love to surprise my mum with a can of it.

I was searing eveywhere last night to find the name of it, I tried tracking down all nestlés discontinued products, I tried every search you could imagine, the closest I could find was some sort of sherbert you could add water to and make a drink.
I wasn't born in the 70's but was intregued none the less. I honestly spent at least an hour searching :rolleyes:Work like you don't need money,Love like you've never been hurt,And dance like no one's watchingSave the cheerleader, save the world!0 -

Birds Apeel : we used to take the orange on holiday with us when we went camping. It was meant to be dehydrated pure fruit juice as opposed to a squash, or at least that's what we were told - but whether it was, I've no idea. It had a very particular taste to it - I can still remember it too

We only got Angel Delight on our birthdays as mum was an OSer and everything was home cooked. Never heard of the sweetheart dessert.0 -
Yep I remember that too - it was gorgeous! I would be really surprised if it wasn't crammed full of E numbers - it was too good to be natural!gettingitsorted wrote:As a child i can remember my mum used to get this orange drink that was dry and you made it up with water ,im not sure but i think you can still buy it,was it called appeal or something along those lines

Was it not like a milk jelly type thing flavoured with strawberry jelly bits mixed in?
