Venues aren't horrible, you were just naive to travel all that way without a ticket and think you would get in.
No ticket, no admission.Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -
I was prepared to buy a ticket off a tout but she went on stage earlier than I expected and the show had started when I got there. I emphasise, they had 20 unused tickets when the box office people packed up to leave. Instead of kindly offering me one, the security head came out to usher me towards the door and actively barred me from coming back in, letting me stand outside in the cold weeping.0

And that's right, they didn't do anything wrong at all.
Waterworks aren't going to get you what you want I'm afraid.
Imagine if 400 people had the same idea as you? They're be bedlam them all fussing around waiting to see if there were any unused tickets.
If I knew the venue were letting people in for nothing when I'd pay for my ticket, I'd be pretty peeved, so try seeing it from that point of view too.Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -
Also I didn't say in the OP that when they told me to leave they basically shut me outside in the cold so I would move on, and when I asked to speak to them again they refused and just stared at me. The one security who opened the door said 'We are closing soon, I'm gonna shut the door now cos the draught is coming in, making me cold'. Couldn't they at least have the attitude of hard luck mate, rather than seemingly enjoying my plight?0

Of course they're going to shut you out in the cold, they're not going to invite you into the staff room are they?Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -
