What can I claim?

Hi, I'm 18 and only claiming DLA at the middle rate plus mobility at the low rate.

What else should I look into claiming? I don't think I can claim income support now, I think it's employment and support allowance.. is this worth it?

Or would I be better of getting a part time job and then claim working tax credits?

Many thanks.

What happened to the job you were starting in 2 weeks time?

Or the job you had, a whole 3 days earlier, earning over £900 a month?

I bet your school reports were full of "Must try harder" comments.

    erm how to reply

if you are doubting if it is worth getting the new benefit or working otherwise should you really be trying to claim it if you are trying to work out what is best cash wise?

you should do what you can and what your body will let you

isup still available i think? but you would need a reason to be on it

There are benefit checkers online that can be accessed via directgov. I think you should be eligible for ESA. They will assign you a 'group', if you can work, then it will be a work focused group that will provide you with the support you need to get to work.
