Ooh, lovely nail pics! I really like seeing what colours people are usingjuliebunny wrote: »I've been good an no INs for a few weeks now (since Glamour sold out! :rotfl:) and since job looking dodgy...can't say what I do for confidentiality reasons (or that it's really boring) - actually I was talking to my friend about saying what you do online and she said 'what does it matter, people can say what they like, you don't know any better'!
So I've decided to be a marine biologist, because that sounds like it might be fun and involve lots of travel to warm places and using loads of lotions to keep my skin soft!
What does everyone else want to be :rotfl:
Ha, great idea, Hmm, I think i'll be a "chocolate chef" - making up new chocloate flavours and of course testing them :rotfl: That fits with Switzerland doesn't it?
Two more UUs, but just little ones:
- roll of cotton wool. WIBA? No, complete faff, only bought it bacause I had run out while travelling and it was all I coudl find at the time.
- Superdrug Tea tree oil. WIBA? Maybe. I occasionally mix a drop in with my mix for OCM, and it's good for the odd spot that does show up. But might have to get the BS version with my groupon voucher
A few splutterers scattered about my bathroom too, so hopefully more to report soon!0 -
Hi everyone
another UU for me - Tesco Vit E face wipes, i would buy again as they're as good as No 7 ones but soooooooo much cheaper. I do have about 5 packs of face wipes in stock though so won't do anything yet.
Sorted out the LYB card from BS - apparently it will come in a second envelope in about 10 days, why they couldn't put that on the dispatch note i don't know. Just read back and have to say thank you for all those who commented on my question.
Question for the panel....
I had to chuck my eyeliner pencil last night as i'd dropped it and the core appeared to have broken up when i tried to sharpen it. Does anyone have an recomendations for someone who's an absolute beginner? Last wore liner in the 80's when you painted the inside lower rim of your eyes. I'm looking in the Avon book at work (Brochure 7) and am tempted by the Anew Smoothing eyeliner, or the 24k gold eyeliner. I know there are some offers but i don't actually want the free gifts so i thought i'd be sensible!!!!!! Only other place i'm likely to go to over the weekend is Asda or Aldi if anyone has any other recommendations.
Unless there's a boots skinny out at the moment that i can get with a top up and can use on one.
Thanks in advance0 -
Another UU - Scrubs Up Well by Next WIBA? Well one of their better items - smelt lovely- but NO. Can't stand their gift sets at all now and still got a chocolate one to UU - must mention to the SIL who is guaranteed to buy me another 1 for my birthday :laugh:Don't walk behind me; I may not lead. Don't walk in front of me; I may not follow. Just walk beside me and be my friend...

Had the implant in the past which was a total nightmare not least because they kept refusing to remove it, I actually had to go to the hospital and beg them to do it, most awful experience of my life which lasted 2 years... And then I got put on another pill which made me so ridiculously ill I thought I was going to die (bit drastic but still
) but the docs have no idea why I reacted to it like that....
Hi Charlie,
Have you thought about trying the depo provera injections? I had terrible trouble with the mini pill (I was on more than off, dreadfully headachy, sick etc) and the doctor offered me the injections instead.
I've gained about half a stone over a year, which I'm struggling to get off again, but I've had absolutely no other effects. Or PMT. Or period pains. Or periods worth mentioning, for six months, and the ones for six months before that were two day wonders. Just thought I'd mention it, good luck with that stuff xSome days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....

Hi all
Just a flying visit
Two IN's Mitchum Smart Solid Anti-Perspirant Deodorant Stick - Waterlily -haven't tried the stick before usually a roll-on user. Have started using Mitchum Deo as I know it was someones (sorry can't remember who) HG deo so thought I would give it a go and it is really good. I went though a few years of trying several "natural" deodorants but to be honenst they just didn't do the job. Anyway, if anybody has a Waitrose near them they were selling off the Mitchum Smart Solid Anti-Perspirant Deodorant Stick - Waterlily for 69p each, in the toiletries clearance section.:)
I'd love to try a deo-stick - and didnt know Mitchum made one. I really dont like roll ons - too impatient to wait for them to dry. No waitrose round here unfortunately, so I'll have to keep an eye out for the sticks now.minerva_windsong wrote: »OUT in this morning's shower - Body Shop Coconut Shower Cream. WMBA as it smelt lovely and I thought it was very moisturising, but it was a little bit on the thick side when first applied to skin so it might work better in a shower puff. That takes me to 19 OUTs for 2011 so far, I'm aiming for 25 by the end of the month but that does include Give and Make Up parcels.
Love the smell of coconut - unfortunately one of the girls hates the smellI almost picked up a coconut hand wash for the bathroom (the one in there is nearly empty so its ok) but ended up bringing home a waterlily one instead (£1.00 - but not adding it to sig as its not just mine
)
Me neither - most of the stuff I buy isn't comparable judging by the receipts I've put in so far, plus I can't be bothered with the faff of it all!
Am so tempted by this tesco business.......maybe next week when I've more time to drive over to the nearest one. Dont want to tempt me to buy more than i need as I keep telling myself I'm on a diet :rotfl:
Nails done this morning in a colour I found in the draw and haven't used for an age - L'Oreal Laquiresist in Mermaid - a fab sparkly blue. Now desperately trying not to smudge it!
oooh - a lovely colour!!
One UU to report here - that Avon Dry Skin SOS Handcream that I cut open has finally bitten the dust. WIBA? I would if they hadn't discontinued it! It is coming up in clearance but I can't make up my mind whether to buy a tube or not. I have a while to make my mind up though. I'll continue with the ordinary Avon handcream I have on the go at the moment, which means I have reached the marvellous point of "one in use, and one spare!" Wahoo! Will have ins to report later though as Mum and I are off to the shops later and I will be getting the Clinique I promised myself.

*edit* - sorry - photo is HOOOGE! Serves me right for uploading straight from phone > photobucket > site!
LOL dont worry about that - means its easier for us all to see them!XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX:wave:XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX0 -

Nah injections are a no go for me
I seem to not be any good with the progestron only stuff, which both the implant and cerezette were and as the injection is the same Id be terrified Id be the same with that...
Like the implant (which made me want to rip my arm off) I couldnt stand the thought of something being in my body I had no control off, I think the injection would make me feel the same - at least with the pill I can stop taking it when I want etc
Also I faint every time I have a needle stuck in me, passing out every 3 months doesnt sound too appealingMFW 2020 #111 Offset Balance £69,394.80/ £69,595.11

other than the soap collection, i think i was pretty much sorted in January - I just like talking to you lot!! Have to admit though - Ive just bought Bed Head curly shampoo and conditioner while I was in TK Maxiimus - but Im almost out of my boots stuff, and Ive started the James Brown stuff as well - so I think technically Im still one new and one on the go with shampoo....
Oh - bought a mango and orange bubble bath (only got about an inch left in the one that I have left) with points in Boots too - so no spend.Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0 -

I also have an in to declare my Sister picked up the Benefit lemon aid when she went shopping yesterday to the big big Boots, OH is going to give me the money back and i'll have it for Mother's day.
We did use a little bit to test on my Sister, i had make up on so it wouldn't have worked on me. We could tell the difference on the before and after eyes.:T
I have a splutterer too my S&G Glad hair day, i'm not happy about this spluttering because i love it. I think this may be my HG once i've used up all the rest of the shampoo.
You won't be disappointed with the Lemon Aid. It's fab stuff. A pot lasts me a good 18months as well.
My daughter Emma loves the S&G shampoo too. Need to sort out my Asos.com order for these two items.EssexHebridean wrote: »Bronnie that's brilliant - well done you! :T
