Welcome back Tara!!
Celebrate I'm glad you've moved away from Lloyds, I'm worrying for Mr T though :rotfl:
One UU: Another Lush ballistic. No idea which it was, a white Christmas one - WIBA: Well I don't know which it was!! But it did smell lovely, and it created a few bubbles. So if I ever figured it out (v slim chance) then yes
My everlasting Elemis toner still refuses to go down - still just under an inch in the bottle - and put it this way, I've been spraying very liberally to try to finish itthevicster wrote: »Welcome back Tara! Yay! :j:T
Okay...summary...from what I can remeber offhand...Celebrate is now officially obsessed with Tesco DTD :rotfl:, Sawan with nail polish colours, Kaz had fun with some, er, big rods :rotfl:trudij might have herself a toyboy;) and a new foal (eveyone say awww :A)Bronnie and Mineallmine have 'graduated':), Rosemary54 abandoned us to go on holiday like yourself :rotfl:, MAgs30 is probably getting mashed as we speak in the name of St PAtrick, and pretty much everyone has bought some form of beauty product :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Sorry if I've missed much...there's WAY too much to remember! You lot are too busy!

and
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/49924Thanks Sawan, that's really good to know. Aveda is a relatively new one on me, so having never really looked for it before, I wasn't sure how good a discount you can usually get.
Once I've gotten my stash down to normal levels, I definitely think I'll treat myself and start a core collection of products I loveand will use - i.e. having the chanel perfume and the body lotion to match, having Aveda (or equivalent) haircare so long as I feel it's making a difference and I'm sparing with it - some things I'm happy buying cheap, shower gel etc, but I think it's then my feeling guilty about spending more on the items that to me make a difference and actually are worth spending on, that then makes me buy lots of budget products to try instead that I'm never happy with - hence the stash... Turns into a false economy I guess!
Just re-read that back and I'm not sure if it makes sense or not... Prize if you can understand my ramblings!! :rotfl:
xI have painted my nails with the Barry M black crackle over No7 Pink Grapefruit and i'm not sure if i like it or not. My Son does though he noticed as soon as i picked him up from school and spent the whole walk home stroking my nails and asking how i got them like that.:Dcharlie792 wrote: »Guys I need some advice and I figured someone here may have a suggestion
I keep getting these really deep seated spots, the oily filled kind, with no head (gross I know) - now I swear Ive tried anything and everything to prevent and get rid of these but Ive still never found anything successful. My skin itself I wouldn't say was oily.

Hello  and happy red nose day! :j
Tara - welcome back - would love to know what you got with your Groupons - I've still got one to spend - was hoping they would have some good offers instore but nowt yet.
Sarah - did you find your pampering gloves yet to get with your No. 7 voucher?
I've been good an no INs for a few weeks now (since Glamour sold out! :rotfl:) and since job looking dodgy...can't say what I do for confidentiality reasons (or that it's really boring) - actually I was talking to my friend about saying what you do online and she said 'what does it matter, people can say what they like, you don't know any better'!
So I've decided to be a marine biologist, because that sounds like it might be fun and involve lots of travel to warm places and using loads of lotions to keep my skin soft!
What does everyone else want to be :rotfl:Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!0 -
OUT this week 2 tubes of toothpaste 4 left

Just read up about the graduate list. hee hee good idea
I think I'm a graduate, have been for a while I reckon , but in the true sense since we did the Give and Make-Up Boxes and had my personal PRCP moment re my non-responsibility for using up DD's leftovers.
Next to nothing left now tbh that I don't like and working my towards my perfect pared down kit :j
(Did start doing this in my own way, a year before the thread actually started though Phew!)
Bronnie that's brilliant - well done you! :TIs it all stuff like that - branded packaged stuff? We very rarely buy stuff like that as we just don't eat it. (I'm a slow-cooker devotee) Would be worth it if it was fresh meat and veg ..... or Beer for OH
Me neither - most of the stuff I buy isn't comparable judging by the receipts I've put in so far, plus I can't be bothered with the faff of it all!
Nails done this morning in a colour I found in the draw and haven't used for an age - L'Oreal Laquiresist in Mermaid - a fab sparkly blue. Now desperately trying not to smudge it!
Welcome back Tara - sounds like you've been very restrained so far this month!
One UU to report here - that Avon Dry Skin SOS Handcream that I cut open has finally bitten the dust. WIBA? I would if they hadn't discontinued it! It is coming up in clearance but I can't make up my mind whether to buy a tube or not. I have a while to make my mind up though. I'll continue with the ordinary Avon handcream I have on the go at the moment, which means I have reached the marvellous point of "one in use, and one spare!" Wahoo! Will have ins to report later though as Mum and I are off to the shops later and I will be getting the Clinique I promised myself.

hi charlie
ask your gp to switch you to yasmin
its very similar to microgynon but great for spots and for PMT
microgynon tends to flare spots
HTH xx
Thanks it might be something for me to look into but at the moment I couldn't deal with changing, its taken me so long to find something that actually works Im too scared of changing .... Had the implant in the past which was a total nightmare not least because they kept refusing to remove it, I actually had to go to the hospital and beg them to do it, most awful experience of my life which lasted 2 years... And then I got put on another pill which made me so ridiculously ill I thought I was going to die (bit drastic but still) but the docs have no idea why I reacted to it like that....
Well I have been soooo lazy today...just couldnt keep my eyes open after OH went to work so have ended up sleeping for hours...dear me!
May well have to confess to 3 INs today....(ordered them online a few days ago) Actually only paid for one of them though as the others were freeSo all in all I paid £2.99 delivered

Morning all, loving the nail pics, you are all very neat at applying polish, that blue is lush EH.
One out today, Charlie black Body spray, was OK, could smell it when you first put it on then nothing, OK to keep in your bag for emergencys, I'm more a fan of body mists, go on wet and seem to smell for longer.
Am concentrating on using up a few things over the next week, they just seem to be dragging on forever:
Tommy Girl EDT - about 1" left
Dirty works hand cream - about a weeks worth I think
Gok Gorgeous bubble bath - about 2 more baths, will miss this.
After poo pooing the tesco DTD yesterday I gave in today and hot footed it down there, got two large baileys, one olay aqua physics night cream, one day cream, one serum and one eye cream and also olay anti wrinkle classic. Did it in two separate transactions so hope it works, if it does the olay stuff will go on e-bay and if it doesn't the whole lot will go back. Sounds too good to be true really.
If it works the 1L bottles of Baileys will have cost me 81p:D, down side to this is I don't consider baileys alcoholic (even though it quite obviously is) and down glass after glass without thinking and once I added up all my units for 1 week and it was more than a mans allowance and I always say I don't really drink much:eek:.The devil makes works for idle hands0
